BRISTOLVILLE -- The engagement of Kelly Badyna and John Patrick is being announced by her parents, Terry and Jean Badyna of Bristolville.
The future groom is a son of Manuel and Patrick Kasaris of Poland.
Miss Badyna graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a degree as an occupational therapy assistant. She is employed at Harborside Health Care in Broadview Heights.
Mr. Patrick holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Youngstown State University, and a master's in taxation and a juris doctorate degree from the University of Akron. He is an attorney with the Reminger and Reminger Law Firm in Cleveland
The couple have planned a May 14 wedding that will take place on the Hawaiian island of Maui. Invitations will be issued for a postnuptial reception to be held June 23 at the couple's home in North Olmsted.
