FRANK JOHN REICHART, 76

SHARPSVILLE, PA. -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart Church, Sharon, for Frank John Reichart, 76, of 1043 Buckeye Drive, who died early Tuesday in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Mr. Reichart was born Dec. 29, 1924, in Coal Valley, Pa., a son of Arnold and Margaret Eschelbacher Reichart, and moved to Brookfield in 1933.
He was a 1942 graduate of Brookfield High School and retired in 1986 as general foreman for Sawhill Tubular Products Division of A.K. Steel Sharon Plant. He was a member of the church and served as Eucharistic minister, money counter and usher, and he was a member of its Men's Council. He was a charter member and first president of the Sacred Heart Basketball Boosters.
He also was a member of the Reynolds VFW and was a Marine Corps veteran, serving during World War II in the Pacific Theater and during the Korean War for one year.
Besides his wife, the former Patricia L. Escover, whom he married June 9, 1947, he leaves four daughters, Patricia L. Clark of Sharon, Monica L. Lauer of Butler, Pa., and twins Rita M. McCaffrey of Omaha, Neb., and Ruth A. Varcholik of Wheatland; five sons, John A. of Hermitage, Daniel M. of Minerva, Ohio, Michael F. of Sharpsville, Robert G. of Farrell and Thomas E. of Brookfield; two sisters, Betty Kohler of Brookfield and Margaret Scutillo of Hobe Sound, Fla.; three brothers, Arnold of Hubbard, William of Brookfield, and Edward of Masury; 20 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A brother, Norman, is deceased.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home, Sharon.
