ANN M. MATOVIC, 82

GREENVILLE, Pa. -- Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Michael Church for Ann M. Matovic, 82, of 80 Fredonia Road, formerly of South Second Street, who died Monday morning in UPMC Horizon Hospital, Greenville.
Mrs. Matovic was born April 4, 1918, in Youngstown, a daughter of Stefan and Anna Krajcik Karabin.
She was a homemaker and was a member of the church and its Altar & amp; Rosary Society, Infant Jesus of Prague Guild and Booster Club. She also taught Confraternity of Christian Doctrine classes for 10 years at the church. She was a Girl Scout leader and won several awards for her crocheting, including one from Woman's Day magazine.
Her husband, Joseph P., whom she married Sept. 28, 1940, died Sept. 1, 2000.
She leaves three daughters, Joan Eastlake of South Williamsport, Pa., Rosemary Daugherty of Greensboro, N.C., and Mary Ann Albaugh of Dallas, N.C.; two sons, James J. of Bay Village and Frank M. of Preston, Conn.; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A sister, Josephine Karabin, and three brothers, Jack, Steve and Al Karabin, are deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Loutzenhiser-Jordan Colonial Funeral Home here. Contributions may be made to the church school endowment fund, 85 N. High St., Greenville 16125.
