Residents to be honored
WARREN -- John Taylor and Clyde "Skip" Cole are being honored by the Washington, D.C.-based Points of Light Foundation for their efforts to establish a nonprofit group to buy and clean up dilapidated properties in the Westlawn neighborhood. Taylor, of Country Club Drive, is president of Paige & amp; Byrnes Insurance Agency; Cole, of Howland-Wilson Road N.E., is president of Cole Valley Pontiac-Cadillac.
Canfield High delays
CANFIELD -- Canfield High School classes will start at 9:57 a.m. Friday, two hours later than usual, to accommodate student travel from the girls state basketball tournament game in Columbus at 9 p.m. Thursday. Students will be responsible for their own transportation to school.
