AUSTINTOWN -- Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Joy Church of the Brethren, Mt. Pleasant, Pa., for Stella Christner, 84, of 4973 Norquest Blvd., who died Saturday morning in St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Mrs. Christner was born March 11, 1916, in Acme, Pa., a daughter of William and Florence Shaffer Porch, and came to the Austintown area in 1965.
She was a homemaker and a member of the church.
Her husband, Jacob H., whom she married June 2, 1937, died in November 1997.
She leaves two sons, Dennis of Austintown and Dwight of Howland; a daughter, Karen Beer of Canfield; three sisters, Norma Brodak of Mt. Pleasant, Freeda Wisotzskey of Gettysburg and Doris Galko of Jeannette, Pa.; two brothers, Emery Porch of Ligonier, Pa., and Carl Porch of Acme, Pa.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Four sisters, Opal Easoz, Shirley Perz, Adah Butler and Helen Mellors, and a brother, Ray Porch, are deceased.
Friends may call for one hour before the services in the church. Arrangements are by Lane Funeral Home, Austintown.
