VIENNA -- Mr. and Mrs. George Spelich, 3707 Warren-Sharon Road, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary by renewing their marriage vows Jan. 27 at the Queen of Holy Rosary Church.
The celebration was continued at a party that was held in their honor Feb. 18 at the Tall Oaks Room in the Avalon Inn and Resort, Howland, Hosts for the family event were the couple's children, Georgette Spelich and Gregory Spelich, both of Warren, and Darryl Spelich of Seminole, Fla.
The former Erma DeRamo and Mr. Spelich were married Jan. 27, 1951, at St. Anthony Church in Youngstown. They have seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Prior to retiring, Mrs. Spelich was employed at General Electric in Youngstown.
Mr. Spelich is retired from the Spelich Paving Co.
