Rewards for helmets
LAKE MILTON -- Kids, if you're spotted wearing a bicycle helmet by the Milton Township police, you'll get a ticket -- for discounts at Six Flags Worlds of Adventure and Domino's Pizza. The department has created a campaign, Helmet Smart, to encourage helmet-wearing. Children found wearing a helmet will receive discount coupons and be entered in a contest to win a bike.
Mosquito spraying
LIBERTY -- Alexander Pest Control will spray for mosquitoes throughout the township from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. July 9 and 10. Residents are encouraged to close their windows, keep pets indoors and not leave any food outside during the spraying.
