ORLANDO, Fla. -- Elaine Powell scored a career-high 20 points to lead Orlando. Nykesha Sales added 21 points and Taj McWilliams-Franklin had 13 for the Miracle (3-6), who won back-to-back games for the first time this season. Chamique Holdsclaw had 18 points and 15 rebounds for Washington (2-7). The Mystics have lost six straight.
Fever 74, Shock 70
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Olympia Scott-Richardson scored 11 of her 15 points in the second half and Rita Williams hit four free throws in the final minutes as Indiana beat Detroit for the second time in two days.On Friday night, Scott-Richardson, who was traded by the Shock to Indiana, had a double-double in the Fever's 77-56 victory.Williams added 14 points in a reserve role for Indiana. Kelly Schumacher had 10 points and seven rebounds. Claudia Maria das Neves scored 16 points for the Shock. Dominique Canty added 13 points.
Comets 70, Monarchs 56
HOUSTON -- Tina Thompson scored 12 of her 21 points in the first half as Houston won its seventh straight game. The Comets (7-1) were playing just their second game after a 10-day layoff due to flood damage at the Compaq Center. Houston's only loss came against the Los Angeles Sparks in its season-opener. Ruthie Bolton-Holifield shot 4-for-7 from 3-point range and finished with 15 points for Sacramento (5-6).

SALT LAKE CITY -- Kate Starbird scored a career-high 21 points and Natalie Williams added 18 points and 14 rebounds for Utah. Katie Smith, the WNBA's leading scorer, had 27 points for Minnesota and was a 10-for-10 at the free-throw line.
