Friends plan Shakespearean party

YOUNGSTOWN -- The Friends of Fellows Riverside Gardens will hold a garden party, "A Midsummer Night's Dream" from 6:30 p.m. to midnight July 20 at the gardens in Mill Creek Park.
Guests will join characters from Shakespeare's play for hors d'oeuvres, dinner, dessert and dancing at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center at the gardens.
Tickets are $60 for standard and $90 ($30 tax deductible) for patrons. Proceeds will benefit the gardens and endowment fund. For tickets call (330) 740-7116.
Debbie Liptak and Michele Shobel are co-chairmen for the event, and serving on the committee are Debbie Albarran, David Armstrong, Susan Burgeson, Joyce DiTosto, Jan Hubbard, Keith Kaiser, Elayne Klovis, Tina Nordgren, Karen Petroff, Carol Potter, Marian Sebastiano, Marilyn Sheridan, Carolyn Stoneburner, Suzanne Teaberry, Dolly Vivalo and Gordon Vujevic.
