NEW MIDDLETOWN -- A reception was held at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman to honor Dr. Jeff Rodgers and his bride, the former Dana Lynn Mirone, both of 5430 Baneberry Ave., Columbus, who were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. May 12 at Zion Lutheran Church.
The Rev. Larry Klinker presided at the wedding for the daughter of Dana C. and Debbie Mirone, 52 Ward Ave., and the son of Dr. Robert and Carol Rodgers, 271 Timber Run, Canfield.
After a honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean, the couple live in Columbus.
The bride's strapless white matte satin gown was embellished with pearls, sequins and Alencon lace and had a basque waist.
Honor attendant was the bride's sister, Angela Mirone, and bridesmaids were Jenna Rodgers, the groom's sister; Amy Rodgers, his sister-in-law; and Amanda Mirone, the bride's sister. Flower girl was Kennedy Richey, the bride's cousin.
Best man was the groom's brother, Jason Rodgers, and groomsmen were his cousin, Brad Morgan; Gary Harris; and Tommy Biroschak, the bride's cousin. Ring bearer was the groom's nephew, Jamie Rodgers.
The bride, a child-care provider with Joyland Preschool in Columbus, attended Youngstown State University.
The groom graduated from Gannon University in Erie, Pa., with a degree in biology and earned a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Ohio University Medical School,Athens. He is a resident physician in radiology at Doctors Hospital, Columbus.
