Safety tips
Following are some basic safety tips to remember when boating:
Keep distress flags and a fire extinguisher on the boat.
Make sure all passengers are wearing life jackets.
Before leaving the dock make sure all lights on the boat are working properly.
Operate the boat at safe speeds.
Refrain from using alcohol while operating the boat.
