BASEBALL
Tri-T Pony (ages 13-14)
Struthers St. Anthony's 14, Poland David's Heating 6 -- Ryan Stanko went 3-for-3 and played strong defense at third base to lead Struthers. Ryan Gruber, Chris Anzevino, Gordon Slanina and Tristan Suchora added two hits each for the winners. Steven Streb got the pitching victory. For Poland, Cory Gruelle's three hits included a home run and Russ Beatty added two hits.
Canfield Robert Senn 11, Lowellville Conti Corp. 1 -- Bryan Stolte and Jonathan Bastian combined on a one-hitter with eight strikeouts. Matt Keating had two hits and Jason Mogg scored three times.
Struthers Acordia Insurance 13, Austintown Everclear 3 -- Marc Peluso and Mike Galletta each had two hits with a double apiece in a 12-hit attack. Nathan Zappia doubled.
LITTLE B LEAGUE
Lazart 9, Livi Steel 8 -- John Virotsko and Chris Aracich each had three hits. Livi got four hits from Steve Orlosky while Joe Skocik had three more.
SOFTBALL

Canfield Women Democrats 21, Niles Riechard Inc. 1 -- Courtney Porter threw a one-hitter while Brittany Lesho and Julie Cooper each had four hits. Cassie Mosure, Megan Bundy, Nicole Beck and Megan Tomaino had three hits apiece.
