ALLOCATION Grants

Trumbull County commissioners have decided how to disperse $586,000 allocated to the county by the Ohio Department of Development. Here is the list of projects to receive funds through the Community Development Block Grant program:
Walnut Street improvements, Cortland, $16,000.
HOME Emergency Repair/Sanitary lateral connection assistance plan, countywide, $30,000.
Demolitions, Hubbard and Warren townships, $19,000.
Improvements to Cyrus, Wheeler and School streets, Hubbard City, $28,100.
Broad Street redevelopment project, Newton Falls, $40,000.
Parking lot paving, St. Vincent dePaul Society, Warren, $3,000.
Meadowbrook waterline project, Warren Township, $350,000.
Program administration, $87,900.
Fair Housing enforcement, $12,000.
