Babe Ruth (14-15)
Sluggers 11, J & amp; W Crown Limo 7 -- Josh McKenney struck out 10 while Lou Kopachy had three hits including a double and two RBIs. Luke Srock singled and triple while Jarrod Faubel had two hits. Tyler Stanley threw a scoreless seventh for the save. For J & amp; W, Andy Kopper had a triple and Mike Rubosky had two hits.
Sluggers 13, Astro Falcons 1 -- Aaron Pollack pitched a complete game, striking out six, and tripled. Lou Kopachy added two hits and had two RBIs. Dan Balog, Dave Piersante and Ryan Hamilton also had two hits each. Kopachy and Josh Geric stood out defensively.
Babe Ruth (13s)
Astro Falcons 4, Rondinelli 2 -- Jim Phillis pitched a five-hitter through seven innings while Matt Ruble had two doubles and three RBIs. Dave Diyorio was Rondinelli's pitcher.
Youngstown Express 7, Astro Falcons 3 -- Mark Rossi went 2-for-3 with a double, while Brett Dutton was 2-for-4. Ryan Satterlee added two hits and a pair of RBIs, and Patrick Holland was the winning pitcher, allowing two hits.
Sluggers 6, East Side Kiwanis 3 -- Mike Bartos drove in Bobby Getsy in the bottom of the eighth inning for the win. Getsy had three hits and Lonnie McQueen tripled. Matt Pirko, Gino Mancuso and A.J. Pulice combined on the pitching.
Tri-T Colt (15-17)
Poland Magic Moments 11, Niles Leonard Insurance 10 -- Jeremy Borcheck and Jonathan Brauer combined for the win. Brauer, Mike Pitzulo, Andrew Zelinsky and Matt Conti each had two hits with doubles. For Niles, Dustin Rivera had three hits and scored three times while Rick Molinari doubled.
Campbell 6, Columbiana Post 290 4 -- Matt Stankich hit a two-run home run in the ninth inning to win it for Campbell. Craig Dirienzo, Lou Samonas, John Kraysets and George Schlosser had two hits apiece. Schlosser, in relief, pitched the last two inning to pick up the win. Joe Ruperet went 2-for-3 with a triple to pace Columbiana.
Tri-T Pony (13-14)
Austintown Landmark 11, Canfield Electric Device 8 -- Matt Scurti had a double, single and four RBIs, Adam Hoops had a home run, two singles and three RBIs, J.P. Davis had a double and two singles, Mark DiGiacomo and Brad Learn had an RBI apiece and Brian Hritz had two doubles in the 11-inning game. Mike Camacci, Hritz and Learn combined for the win. For Canfield, Jake Mosure had three RBIs, Justin Herberger two RBIs, Damon Buente a double and two singles for an RBI, Mike Hudoba a double, single and RBI and Jamie McNally a double and single.
Canfield Electric Device 3, Struthers Gridiron 2 -- Jake Mosure had a homer and two singles, Luke Stebner had two singles and Chad Gifford doubled for Device. For Gridiron, Jim Farris had a double and RBI and Mike Duponty doubled.
UCT 8, Poland Tangier 5 -- Craig Hritz struck out eight over seven innings and went 3-for-4 with a home run. Nick Greier had a triple, double and single and made seven outs as third baseman. Trevin Wood doubled.
UCT 9, Austintown One 8 -- Cody Dillon had the tying RBI and Keith Viola the game-winning RBI. Also, Craig Hritz had a home run and two triples, Joe Righetti had two triples and McGuire had a triple and double.
UCT 13, Boardman G.F. Insulation 11 -- Jesse McGuire and Nick Greier had three doubles, McCallister had two doubles and Dominic Gilbey had one double for UCT which overcame a 7-2 deficit. Two triples by Nate Tacsik paced G.F. while teammates Corey Keller, Anthony Hoops and Craig Bletso had singles and Mike Baharis and Justin Lemmo doubles.
Canfield Anthem Blue Cross 19, Austintown One 2 -- Frank Ross went 4-for-4 while Chris Ulery, Tom Ivany, Joe Fox, C.J. Morris and Joe Rosko had three hits apiece. One of Ivany's and Rosko's hits was a home run. Greg McGlynn had two hits while Bill Taylor and Chuck Koch also added a hit apiece.
Canfield Anthem Blue Cross 16, Austintown Quaker 3 -- Chris Ulery had three hits while Kyle Schuchler, Joe Fox, Frank Ross and Blake Flick added two hits apiece.
Canfield Anthem Blue Cross 4, Niles Dunnigan Photography 1 -- Joe Rosko whiffed 13 en route to a one-hitter while Tom Ivany had three hits including a home run. Kyle Schuchler, C.J. Morris and Blake Flick each had a hit and scored a run.
Struthers St. Anthony's 10, Accordia Insurance 7 -- Adam Wilaj, Dave Yash and Ryan Spatholt each had two hits. Mark Peluso had two hits for Accordia.
Poland David's Heating 5, Niles Hangware 4 -- Rob Fuller singled in Tim Phillips with the winning run. Shane Gallabher doubled.
David's Heating 7, New Middletown Lions 1 -- Mike Swoboda pitched a three-hitter with 15 strikeouts. Corey Jones had three hits while Mike Hallock and Swoboda added two apiece. For Lions, Aaron Woods had two hits and Julian Caraballo the other.
David's Heating 10, Columbiana Post 290 3 -- Corey Jones pitched a five-hitter while Joe Renaud, Tim Phillips, Rob Fuller and Mike Swoboda had two hits apiece. One of Swoboda's was a homer. For Columbiana, Zach Hertel had two hits and Drew Wagner a double.
Boardman GF Insulation 3, Mayo and Orvets 1 -- Mike Baharis allowed only one run in five innings of work to pick up the win. Anthony Hodos hit a double. Joey Bako hit double and single and Ricky Solak hit a triple and single for Mayo and Orvets.
Salem 13, GF Insulation 11 -- Craig Bletso went 3-for-4 with a double. Nate Tacsik went 2-for-3 with a triple. Corey Keller and Jeff Olenych each hit two singles.
Poland David's Heating 16, Austintown Quaker 8 -- Shane Gallagher had three hits, Rob Fuller added two and Corey Jones homered and singled.
Boardman Bill's Place 17, Niles Trophy 3 -- Chris Pechalk had eight strikeouts. Jim Hlebak had three hits, while Mike Calcagni and Jeremy McConnel drove in five runs each.

Rondinelli 4, Boys of Summer 3 -- Xavier Godoy gave up three hits and struck out 15 over seven innings while Andy Timko had the game-winning hit in the bottom of the seventh. Chuck Oleski added two hits.
SOFTBALL
(18-under)
West End Silver -- went 6-1 to win the Raging Thunder Pony Tournament after falling in its first start. On the team are Ashley Ault, Jenn Toth, Stephanie Fabian, Traci DeGarmo, Heather Hrina, Rachel Higgins, Jolene Lamb, Heather Fink, Sarah Shaffer, Jamie Zupko, Niki Knopp and Trisha McHenry.
Traveling (ages 15-16)
Ohio Stars 4, Rage 0 -- Melanie Lodyn was the winning pitcher and Megan Turocy tripled home the winning run for the Stars in the championship game of the Chain Reaction Father's Day Classic in Champion. Lodyn and Turocy each won two games in the elimination bracket as the Stars also defeated: Emeralds, 2-1; Diamond Dogs, 6-5; and Chain Reaction, 4-0. Elizabeth Brown and Amanda Williams had game-winning RBIs while Amy Daliman, Whitney Zunic, Nicole Garrett and Julie Halaparda were key run producers.
Pony (14-under)
Mill Creek Sand 16, Poland Ace 14 -- Mary Wheland hit a grand slam while Ashley Siembieda and Kristen Bielik each had three hits.
Boardman Dart Trucking 15, Hi-Tech Tool 11 -- Sarah Albani struck out six in three innings of relief to pick up the win. Sarah Navarro had a three-run homer and Sarah Stafford and Nicole Ford had two hits apiece. For Hi-Tech Sharaya Christmas had two hits and Kim Bowlen scored four runs.
Valley Sting (12-under)
The Green team was second and the Purple team placed third at the Compuware Tournament in Detroit, Mich. The Green team opened the tournament with victories over Compuware 5-2; Ohio Renegades 5-4, and Homer, Ill., 1-0. In seeded play, Green lost to Keystone Stealers 4-3, before defeating Northville, Mich., 11-0, and Indiana Magic, 5-2. Green then lost to Finesse, Mich., 7-3.
Purple defeated Indiana Magic 10-0, lost to Lady Lasers Green, defeated Finesse, Mich., 2-1, and Diamond Dolls 9-1. In seeded play, Purple defeated Grand Slam 5-1 before losing to Pittsburgh Spirit 5-1.
