STRUTHERS -- "New Dimensional Women Embracing a Holiness Tradition" will be the theme for Women's Day 2001 to be held at 11 a.m. Sunday at Fellowship Church of God in Christ, 115 Frank St. The speaker will be the Rev. Barbara McCrae of Trinity Gospel Ministry COGIC of Farrell, Pa. Dinner will follow.
Eat those nuts
People who frequently snack on nuts may be helping cut their risk of heart disease, a new analysis from Pennsylvania State University researchers suggests. The analysis gathered several studies to conclude that eating an ounce or so of nuts, including peanuts (actually legumes), every day could trim heart disease risk by 25 percent and more.
