BASEBALL
Babe Ruth (age 13)
Youngstown Express 12, East Side Kiwanis 1 -- David Patrick and Michael Rose each went 2-for-2 with two RBIs. One of Rose's hits was a double. Jared Bartholomew was the winning pitcher, with relief from Josh Crum. They combined on a two-hitter.
Rondinelli 4, East Side Kiwanis 2 -- Jay Yorty and Joe Irwin combined to pitch the game, while Patrick Elias and Jim Mack each had two hits. Andy Allen had two fine defensive plays.
Rondinelli 10, J & amp;W Crown Limo 9 -- Patrick Elias went 3-for-4, and Anthony Porter drove in the game winning run.
Rondinelli 18, Sluggers 7 -- Patrick Elias had three hits, while Brennan Meenachan, Andy Allen and Kyle McCarthy each had two hits.
Pony (ages 13-14)
Springfield Fireman 13, Austintown Greenwood Chevy 5 -- Andy Sarich had four hits, while Matt Morell had three.
Struthers St. Anthony's 7, Lowellville Falcon Foundry 6 -- Skylar Slavik's two-run homer won the game for Struthers.
Poland Tangier's 5, Boardman GF Insulation 0 -- Winning pitcher Paul scattered four hits and struck out seven. Dan Buccino homered. For Boardman, Corey Keller doubled.
Canfield Anthem Blue Cross & amp; Blue Shield 16, Niles Hangware Trophy 2 -- Frank Ross had three hits, while Jim Gromada, Jeff Moliterno, Tarik Awad, Chris Ulery, Joe Fox and Kyle Schuchler had two apiece. For Niles, Andrew Wibert, Andrew Crisp and Chris Leedy had hits.
Canfield Electric Device 13-13, New Middletown Lions 12-1 -- Justin Herberger's two hits in the first game included a double and drove in three runs. Mike Hudoba homered to score two runs and Luke Stebner had two doubles. For Lions, Nick Panevich's three hits included a homer and double, and Aaron Wood's three hits included a triple. Nick Maietta's two hits included a triple and drove in three runs. Herberger and Jake Mosure each drove in two runs. Panevich homered and doubled for Lions.
Boardman Bills Place 4, Niles Photo 1 -- Kevin Sikora threw a complete-game three-hitter and had two hits, while Jim Hleback and Rob Fernback each had two RBIs.
Campbell West and Barker 13, Niles Indalex Aluminum -- Trey Soares had three hits, while Tony Golpe, Rich Phillips, Alan Fiorini and Michael Hagens each had two.
Colt (ages 15-17)
Niles Building Products 13, Crestview 4 -- Kevin Robertson and Danny Harclerode had three hits apiece for Niles. Brian Liddle, Ryan Barrett, Travis Fusselmand and Chris Utterback added two hits each.
SOFTBALL
Pony (ages 13-14)
Mill Creek Sandwich Factory 14, Struthers Clemente Funeral Home 3 -- Winning pitcher Teresa Koontz tossed a three-hitter and contributed three hits. Tara Wright and Mary Whelan each tripled. For Struthers, Annisa Poutitios had two hits.
Mill Creek Marlowe's Coffee 5, Boardman Dart Trucking 1 -- Stefanie Zizzo and Stefanie Grimaldi each had two RBIs, while Sheila Kollars had the other for the winners. For Boardman, Addie Carothers and Sarah Stafford doubled.

Southeastern Equipment Co. 11, Howland Tigers 1 -- C.J. Calabrese and Ashley Bleggi combined to pitch a two-hitter. Stephanie Zunic had two hits.
Southeastern Equipment Co. 15, Home Savings and Loan 1 -- Julie Cooper, C.J. Calabrese, Stephanie Zunic and Franquie Yazbek each had two hits.
