YOUNGSTOWN -- Downtown Partners is sponsoring its first Car Cruise in Downtown Youngstown from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday on Federal Plaza West. "Bringing people into downtown Youngstown is great for the community and area business," said Mike Camacci, president of Downtown Partners. Attendees can park their cars along Federal Plaza West, which will be blocked off to traffic during the specified time. Two's Company will provide music from noon to 4 p.m. and prizes and drawings will take place. WRTA will provide free shuttle service from the starting line of the Soap Box Derby, at Spring and Fifth avenues, to Commerce and North Chestnut streets. Downtown Partners is a group of local residents whose objective is to spur development and revitalization in downtown Youngstown.
