Photo exhibitat Akron Art Museum
The gritty and exuberant images of news photojournalist Arthur Fellig, known as Weegee, will be on exhibit at the Akron Art Museum through Aug. 12. The more than 200 images entitled & quot;Weegee's World: Life, Death and Human Drama & quot; follows the career of the photographer who chronicled urban life in the 1930s and 1940s. The Akron Art Museum is in downtown Akron at 70 E. Market St. The museum is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free, and on-site parking is available.

Wedding dresses
Historical bridal gowns will be featured in the exhibit & quot;Something Old: Wedding Gowns from 1866-1946, & quot; at Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens through July 29.
Visitors can tour the Manor House where the 12 gowns are displayed. Four gowns were worn by women in the Seiberling family, including Gertrude Seiberling and her two daughters, Virginia and Irene. Several dresses are on loan from The University of Akron and Summit County Historical Society.
