CLASS B LEAGUE Watt fires three-hitter, fans 12

STRUTHERS -- Struthers High senior pitcher Pat Watt fired a three-hitter as Astro Falcons defeated W.W. Heating 4-0 in Class B baseball Monday at Cene Park.
Watt, bound for the University of Akron, went all seven innings, striking out 12. The only hits he allowed were to Jared Bogan, Paul Suhar and Andrew Good.
Chad Wagler had two hits, including a triple, for Astro Falcons, who were limited to seven hits overall by W.W. Heating losing pitcher Michael Krieger.
Astro Falcons, who got RBIs from Sean Clayton and Wagler, scored three runs in the fourth inning and added another in the seventh.
W.W. Heating committed four errors.
Sluggers 14, Rondinelli 6: Marty Kanetsky went 3-for-3, with three RBIs, as Sluggers routed Rondinelli.
John Zizzo and Mike Hanck each had two hits for Rondinelli, who totaled 12, one short of Sluggers' mark.
Rondinelli led 5-4 in the top of the third inning, before Sluggers broke the score open with five runs in the bottom half.
Doug Jones was the winning pitcher, while Chris Harris took the loss.
Goldsteins 9, Becdir 5: Eric Lance, Dennis Golubic and Nick Tucci combined on a three-hitter, and Goldsteins overcame four errors for the win.
Golubic got the win and Tucci the save, while Charlie Jaminet took the loss for Becdir, which had two hits from Matt Baritell.
John Prejsnar drove in three runs on a home run and triple for Goldsteins.
Roth Brothers 13, Alltel 3: Roth Brothers scored eight runs in the third inning en route to its victory over Alltel.
Justin Crum, Jason Jablonski and Tyler Young each had two hits for the winners, who also benefited from Alltel's five errors. Jablonski drove in four runs.
John Bisker started and got the win for Roth Brothers; Anthony Moderalli took the loss.
Youngstown Express 9, Livi Steel 1: Express scored all nine runs in the first three innings, and Ryan Carr allowed one unearned run for the win.
Steve Burnich, Dave Miller, Vasili Pahoulis and Doug Hudoba each recorded two hits for Express, while Burnich drove in two runs.
Bobby Miller took the loss for Livi Steel.
