MVCA all-star football game Wednesday

HUBBARD -- There will be a football game Wednesday night at Hubbard High Stadium.
It's the 16th annual Mahoning Valley Coaches Association all-star contest, which will showcase the top high school football players who have graduated this year.
Renamed the Jack Arvin All-Star Football Classic, the match-up between Red vs. White teams will kick off at 7 p.m.
"They try to break up the teams by rivalries," said Jeff Bayuk, the Hubbard High coach, who will pilot the Red squad.
Marc Bjelac, the Newton Falls High skipper, will guide the White unit.
Brian Fedyski is director of the game.
Arvin honored: The game was renamed for Arvin, a former Hubbard High football coach, who died recently. Arvin was president of the MVCA at the time of his death, and was a member of the organization for more than 20 years.
Major sponsors of the classic are the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and television channels 21, 27 and 33.
All money raised goes to the MVCA scholarship Fund for area student-athletes.
Tickets are priced at $5 each and will be available at gate. The gates open at 6.
