TRAVEL AGENTS So the customer is always right, eh?

Some travel agency customers are simply amazing.

Liberty Travel is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a chuckle. Travel agents for the company, one of America's largest, are sharing their most amazing experiences in dealing with clients. Among those experiences:
UOne customer was going to California as a man but, after a sex-change operation, would return as a woman. Thus, when checking in for the return flight, her identity wouldn't match his photo ID or name on the ticket. What to do? The agent got special permission and endorsements that explained the whole thing.
UA client was adamant about this request: "I want to cruise across the United States from New York to California!" The agent gently explained there was no body of water that would allow such a cruise. The client insisted a friend had done just that on a Carnival Cruise, which must have been news to Carnival.
UOne couple insisted on an ocean-view room. They were making reservations for Las Vegas.
UA group of college students called to book one-way tickets to Hawaii, explaining that to get back, they were going to rent a car and drive from Hawaii to California.
UAnother customer blasted a travel agent for not telling her that a valid driver's license was needed to rent a car.
UYet another client was upset because he was told he could have a maximum of two checked bags at the airport. He later fumed that he saw all kinds of bags there that didn't have a checkered pattern.
