Balloon Quest 2001 has taken flight at Scotland Meadows Park, off U.S. 224 in Union Township, Pa. Above, Legal Eagle, left, a hot air balloon, waits its turn to take off while other balloons take to the sky. Below, Don Sokoloski of Youngstown holds down a balloon while it is prepared for flight. The event, which features balloon rides and other entertainment, opened Friday and runs through this evening. It concludes with a performance by the Shakico Cowboys Show Band from 7 to 11 p.m.
