BOARDMAN -- The Boardman Lions Club held installation of new officers for 2001-02 at a dinner June 14 at the Lockwood House.
Tony Lucarell, outgoing King Lion, presided, and the following members were inducted into leadership positions by David Rice, vice governor: Robert Morris, King Lion; David Schaffer, first vice president; Dee Farina, second vice president; John Cullen, third vice president; Bill Williams, secretary; Bud Jenkins, treasurer; Don Warming, tail twister; Mike Calipari, lion tamer; Dennis Koch and Bill Morris, first-year directors; and Dave Gibson and Ron Rodenbaugh, second-year directors.
Chevron awards were presented for years of service to Ted Ferris and Don Thompson, 20; V.G. Raghavan, 25; and Williams, 30.
Those receiving perfect attendance awards were Tim Domer, Bill Downie, Farina, Gibson, Jenkins, Koch, Lucarell, Bill Morris, Robert Morris, Jerry Pasquale, Jim Patterson, Tony Perry, Ray Stoll, Warming and Williams.
