BB Rooners 10, Pasadena, Maryland 6 -- Dave Knechtel had a home run, a single and got the win. Nolan Reimold homered twice.BB Rooners 4, Long Island, N.Y. 2 -- Cedric Haynes struck out 10.
Tri-T Pony (age 13-14)
Struthers St. Anthony's 10, Austintown 4 -- Dave Yash went 4-for-4 and Skyler Slavik had three hits. Ryan Spatholt and Tristan Suchora each had two hits.
Babe Ruth (age 14-15)
Youngstown Express 11, East Side Kiwanis 9 -- John Mang and Dom Modarelli hit run-scoring singles in the eighth inning for the Express. Modarelli finished with three hits, including a double, while Mang finished with two. Adam Boris hit two doubles and Aaron Boris had one. Matt Yanik, Jon Grist and Rick Banna all had a double and single, and Rohan hit a two-bagger for East Side Kiwanis.
Babe Ruth (age 13)
Sluggers 8, Astros 2 -- Gino Mancuso and Calvin Clayton combined on the pitching win. AJ Pulice had four hits and three RBIs. Bobby Getsy, Kevin Newberry and Joe Vaught all had two hits.Youngstown Express 13, EMS 2 -- Manoli Pahoulis went 3-for-4 with a home run. Jesse D'Amico homered and doubled. Chester Kirkwood tripled and singled, and David Patrick doubled and singled. Josh Crum was the winning pitcher.
