COLUMBIANA -- Mr. and Mrs. Robert S. Barrow, 385 Firestone Ave., were honored at a luncheon reception held June 10 at First Presbyterian Church in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
The anniversary celebration also included several days of vacationing with the family at Burr Oak State Park near Athens, Ohio.
Hosts for the festivities were their children, Alfred and June Barrow of Greenwood, Ind., and Susan and Patrick Schmidt, missionaries serving in Cameroon, Africa. The Barrows also have four grandchildren.
The former Donna Thompson and Mr. Barrow were united in marriage June 9, 1951, at First Christian Church in Youngstown.
Mrs. Barrow is a homemaker. Her husband retired in 1990 after 41 years of service with the Columbiana Boiler Co.
