BOYS BASKETBALL Jones, Kilgore lead Reynolds to 63-61 win over Scotties



TRANSFER, Pa. -- Due to injured ankles, Deacon Jones and Dan Kilgore did not start for Reynolds in its basketball game against Union Saturday.
Both came off the bench to lead the Raiders over the Scotties 63-61 in a non-league game, snapping a three-game losing streak.
Jones, a 5-9 guard, scored 19 points, including 15 in the second half when the Raiders rallied from a 30-23 halftime deficit.
Reynolds (3-4) scored 20 points in the third quarter and 20 more in the fourth and led 56-46 late in the contest.
Tom McEntire scored 15 points, Kilgore scored seven points despite the injured ankle and Don Schmidt added nine points and 10 rebounds.
C.J. Hunt scored 21 points and Dave Horton had 15 more for Union (6-3).
