Harris' 31 points propel Vikings' coach Massimino to his 498th victory.

CLEVELAND -- Jamaal Harris scored 22 of his career-high 31 points in the second half -- including back-to-back 3-pointers as Cleveland State pulled away -- in the Vikings' 79-66 victory Saturday over Akron.
Harris hit 7-of-9 shots from the field including 3 of 4 behind the arc in the second half as Cleveland State (3-3) held on to a 37-33 halftime lead.
Harris made all seven of his free throws and also had seven rebounds.
The victory was the 498th of Coach Rollie Massimino's career. Massimino is 498-356 in 29 seasons.
Andre Williams had 13 points and a career-high 12 rebounds and Theo Dixon also had 13 points for the Vikings.
Darryl Peterson scored 20 points and had 10 rebounds, while Rashon Brown added 16 points and Andy Hipsher 10 for Akron (2-7).
Brown scored the final seven points in a 9-0 run as Akron climbed to 63-59 with 6:01 left. But Harris hit consecutive 3-pointers and scored Cleveland State's next eight points. The lead never dropped below seven points again.
Wright St. 76, Santa Clara 62: DAYTON -- Vernard Hollins and Jesse Deister scored 21 points apiece to lead Wright State.
Seth Doliboa had 18 points and seven rebounds for the Raiders and scored a layup with 12:55 left that gave Wright State (6-3) the lead for good at 42-40.
Diester was 4-of-7 in 3-point attempts and was 7-of-15 overall. Hollins was 9-of-16 overall and hit a basket that gave the Raiders a 26-12 lead, their largest lead in the first half.
Santa Clara (1-6) went on a 12-2 run behind Justin Holbrook's five points to pull to within 28-24 at the half and then tied the game at 40 on a basket by Jordan Legge before Wright State pulled away.
Wright State hit 10-of-19 3-point attempts to 6-of-22 for the Broncos.
Holbrook led Santa Clara with 10 points and had a game-high 10 rebounds. Bakari Altheimer and Kyle Bailey had nine points apiece for Santa Clara.
Detroit 63, Toledo 40: DETROIT -- Terrell Riggs scored 14 points and Detroit's defense shut down Toledo.
After Toledo's Nick Moore made a 3-pointer to tie the score 35-35 with 14:10 to play, the Rockets (3-5) made only two field goals the rest of the way. Detroit used a 20-1 run to put Toledo away.
Mike Harmon had 12 points and 10 rebounds and Willie Green scored 12 points for the Titans (5-3), who extended their home winning streak to 35 games.
Moore was the only Rocket to reach double figures with 11 points. Keith Triplett scored eight points and Terry Reynolds seven for Toledo.
E. Illinois 91, Loyola, Ill. 78: CHARLESTON, Ill. -- Henry Domercant scored a career-high 40 points, including 17-of-17 at the free-throw line.
Domercant, the nation's No. 4 scorer last season, also had nine rebounds and four assists, while hitting 5-of-10 from 3-point range.
J.R. Reynolds had 22 points and Jesse Mackinson 10 for Eastern Illinois, which shot 49.1 percent from the field.
Butler 77, N. Iowa 65: INDIANAPOLIS -- Rylan Hainje made three free throws and had two steals in the final two minutes.
Brandon Miller led Butler with 16 points, including three 3-pointers, Thomas Jackson had 14 points and Scott Robisch added 13.
UMKC 67, Wisconsin-Green Bay 54: KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Michael Watson scored 24 points to lead UMKC. Watson scored 20 or more points for the fifth consecutive game as the Kangaroos (6-1) beat the Phoenix (2-6) for the second time this season.
UMKC led just 50-42 with nine minutes left when Marcus Golson triggered an 11-5 run, making it 62-47 with 3:11 remaining and giving the Kangaroos control of the contest. Golson scored nine of 16 points during that six-minute stretch and finished with a career-high 11 rebounds.
Ill.-Chicago 86, N. Illinois 69: CHICAGO -- Jordan Kardos came off the bench and scored 18 points, including a perfect 4-of-4 from 3-point range.
Northern's Huskies (1-6) led 35-33 at halftime but the Flames (5-2) used a 13-2 run to go from a 43-42 deficit to take a 55-43 lead midway through the second half. Illinois-Chicago widened the margin to 77-60 with 4:20 left.
Leon Rodgers led the Huskies with 17 points and a game-high 13 rebounds as Northern had a whopping 50-27 rebounding advantage. Jamel Staten added 11 points.
The Flames made up the rebounding disadvantage by sinking 27 foul shots, compared to 13 for the Huskies, who also turned the ball over 25 times. Thor Solverson and Jon-Pierre Mitchom had 14 points each for Illinois-Chicago. Solverson was 8-of-10 from the line.
W. Michigan 59, Wis.-Milwaukee 51: MILWAUKEE -- Reggie Berry scored 17 points and Robby Collum added 12 to lead Western Michigan.
