Former leader ofRed Cross to speak
YOUNGSTOWN -- Steve D. Bullock of Cleveland, former acting national president of the American Red Cross, will speak at Youngstown State University's winter commencement 2 p.m. Sunday in Beeghly Center.
Bullock, now a private management consultant, was acting Red Cross president after Elizabeth Dole resigned to run for president in 1999. He left the Red Cross when Bernadine Healey was named president in October 1999. Healey resigned recently in the wake of questions about how Red Cross funds collected after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks were to be distributed.
He leads the Bullock Group in Cleveland, a team of nonprofit management experts.
