LOS ANGELES -- There are advantages to living your life as David Duchovny rather than "

-Files" Agent Fox Mulder: For starters, he can be pretty confident that his wife, Tea Leoni, is not giving birth to an alien.
The actress is expecting her second child with the former "X-Files" G-man, due in the spring, reports E!Online. Duchovny, 41, and Leoni, 35, already have a daughter together, Madelaine West Duchovny, born April 24, 1999.
Leoni, star of "Deep Impact," "The Family Man" and "Jurassic Park III," dated Duchovny only briefly before marrying the Princeton graduate in New York in 1997.
Since then, it's been nothing but bliss. Months after their wedding, Duchovny managed to get "The X-Files" to move production from Vancouver to Los Angeles so he could be closer to his new bride.
And did they ever use their time together wisely -- by butt-painting.
"David and I recently did some butt-painting for a charity auction," Leoni told Canada's Calgary Sun newspaper in July. "I call myself the paint loader. I apply different colors to his cheeks, and then he sits on the canvas.
"I get to spank him a little to blend the colors," she added, noting she defies "anyone to say that David and I don't know how to have fun."
Duchovny can be seen in the next Steven Soderbergh project, "Full Frontal," along with Julia Roberts (who is rumored to have stripped down for the first time on camera), Catherine Keener, David Hyde Pierce and Blair Underwood.

The infection was not believed to be serious, and he was expected home soon.
Wilder, 95, is a three-time Oscar winner. Among his classic films are "The Lost Weekend," "Sunset Boulevard" and "The Apartment."
Eminem, Basinger: Anaffair not to remember?
DETROIT -- True or not, gossip of 29-year-old rapper Eminem's off-screen affair with Kim Basinger, 47 -- who plays the rapper's drug-addled mother in his upcoming movie, "8 Mile" (previously known as "The Untitled Detroit Project") -- is certainly drawing helpful publicity to their work on-screen, reports TV Guide Online.
Admits "8 Mile" producer Brian Grazer: "It's probably a good thing, but they're not having an affair. They're so not, actually."
So what sparked those racy May-September rumors in the first place? Could it be the name? (Eminem's estranged wife and mother of his 5-year-old daughter is Kim Mathers).
Linkletter promoteskids' communication
LOS ANGELES -- Humorist, author and longtime television personality Art Linkletter, the avuncular host of the old "Kids Say the Darndest Things" shows, says it's important for young voices to be heard.
Linkletter, 89, will receive the KidsTalk Humanitarian Award on Saturday during ceremonies at the Bel-Air Country Club.
The Los Angeles-based KidsTalk Foundation, founded in 1997, concentrates on providing youngsters with communication skills to inspire them to become a voice in society. Youngsters participate in Los Angeles cable TV's "Voices of Tomorrow" talk show.
"Anything that encourages kids to develop their creativity and skill in the field of communication is vitally important to our future," Linkletter said. "Communication is the key to world understanding and peace."

MIAMI -- Former U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno officiated at the wedding of her niece, model Hunter Reno, during an outdoor ceremony in a tropical garden.
Hunter Reno, a model and host of "Exotic Islands" on the Travel Channel, married Peter Rabbino, co-founder of a Fort Lauderdale legal consulting firm, on Sunday.
