Pymatuning Exposet Sept. 15, 16
The 20th Annual Pymatuning Waterfowl Expo will be held Sept. 15 and 16 in Linesville, Pa.
Sponsored by Ducks Unlimited, the Expo is a multi-site extravaganza of waterfowling, from local and nationally renowned wildlife artwork, taxidermy displays and competition, as well as decoy carvings and competition.

Banquet for DUscheduled Sept. 21
The annual banquet of the Mahoning Valley Chapter of Ducks Unlimited will be held Sept. 21 at St. Mary's Assumption Social Center at 356 S. Belle Vista Ave. in Youngstown..
The banquet offers a chance bid on waterfowl-oriented artwork, duck stamps, guns and collectibles as well as take part in auctions and raffles.
Tickets are $50 per person, $80 per couple, $40 for greenwings, $300 for sponsor status and $325 for couple sponsor billing.

Waterfowl USA chapterplanning Sept. banquet
The Mercer/Crawford County Chapter of Waterfowl USA will hold its annual banquet, Sept. 21 at the Pymatuning Sportsmens Club, Linesville, Pa.
Tickets are $45 each including dinner, a one-year membership to the organization and a one-year subscription to Waterfowl USA magazine. Doors open 5:30 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m. Call (724) 658-0176 or (724) 674-1658.

Basic course offered
The Youngstown Power Squadron will hold a 5 week basic boating course Thursdays starting Sept. 13. The class will meet from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Mahoning County Career Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road, Canfield. Registration will be at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 13. There is a $25 charge for books and materials. State approved class. For more information call (330) 757-2872.
