BENEFIT EVENTS
XWarren Harley Owners Group and Warren Harley Davidson will sponsor a Harley Night from 4 to 10 p.m. Sept. 8 at Courthouse Square Park, Warren. There will be a bike show, rodeo games, awards, food and music. The entry fee for the bike show is $5, and proceeds will benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Services Agency. CAR SHOWS
XGlenn Christian Church, 5540 Parkman Road N.W., Warren, will hold an ox roast and car show from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Registration will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is free of charge. A "Night Before Cruise" and bonfire are planned for 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
CARD PARTIES
XInfant of Jesus Prague Guild of St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sponsor a bingo and card party at 2 p.m. Sept. 9 at the church. There will be refreshments, games and prizes. Cost is $3.
CRAFT SHOWS
XGreenville Area Leisure Services Association, 45 Alan Ave., Greenville, Pa., will hold a craft show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 10 Space is available for vendors. For more information call Tracey Larson, (724) 588-4810, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
FESTS
XTrumbull County Herb Society will hold a herb fest from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 8 at the Opera House, 152 Park Ave., Cortland, in conjunction with Cortland Harvest Days. There will be homemade herbal foods, personal care and kitchen items, books, a basket auction and herbal plant show. An ongoing lecture series will be provided by club members. Lunch will be available. Proceeds will benefit the society's scholarship fund.
ROSE SHOWS
XColumbiana Rose Society will hold an annual rose show Sept. 8 at the Sky Bank, Main Street, Columbiana. The show is open to rose growers throughout the area. Entries should be brought to the bank at 12:30 p.m., and judging will be at 2. The roses will be on display from 4 to 9 p.m. when they will be sold. SALES
XA rummage sale is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 8 in the gym at St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, by the Christian Education Committee. On sale will be luggage, jewelry, baby items, purses, records, cassettes, tools, collectibles, outdoor equipment, seasonal and craft items, and household items such as dishes, pots, pans, small appliances, bedspreads, rugs, furniture, lamps and drapes. Refreshments will be sold. There are no pre-sales, and it is a cash-only sale.
XVendors are invited to participate in a lawn sale to be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 15 at Viets Museum, 224 N. High St., Cortland, in conjunction with the Historical Society Village Haymarket. Sale items will range from antiques and jewelry to books, candles and tools, but no clothing. Table space may be rented for $10. For information call (330) 637-4876.
