LIMELIGHT Awards, achievements



AUSTINTOWN -- Gregory Greenwood, owner of Greenwood Chevrolet on Mahoning Avenue, Austintown, has been awarded the Jack Smith Leadership Award by General Motors chairman Jack Smith for excellence in sales and customer service. Smith presented the award recently at a luncheon in Dearborn, Mich. Greenwood is one of 100 GM top volume dealerships presented the annual award.
BOARDMAN -- Maureen Pero, a Boardman native and Cardinal Mooney High School graduate, has been named one of the 25 most influential people in Dayton by the Dayton Business Journal. Pero, who lives in the Dayton suburb of Oakwood, is president of the Downtown Dayton Partnership and has led revitalization efforts in that city's downtown area. She has a bachelor's degree from Kent State University, a master's degree and a law degree, both from the University of Dayton.
POLAND -- E.H. Duncan The Bath & amp; Kitchen Center has been listed among the 2001 top 500 remodeling firms by Qualified Remodeler magazine. The Poland-based company was ranked 324 in the list, which recognizes remodelers for sales volume, years in business and services provided. It will be published in the magazine's September issue and on its Web site, www.qrmagazine.com. Tom Duncan is the owner of the business, which was founded in 1956.
