FUND-RAISER Visiting Nurse Association plans Fall Fantasy



Tickets for the benefit may be purchased by Friday.
BOARDMAN -- Food, music and auctions will highlight Fall Fantasy 2001 planned for Sept. 7 at the Holiday Inn South by the Visiting Nurse Association of the Greater Youngstown Area. The fund-raising event will get under way at 6:30 p.m.
The semiformal evening will include cocktails, dinner, dancing and music. There will be silent and Chinese auctions featuring an array of items donated by local businesses and individuals.
Honoree: Special recognition will be given to D.D. Davis for his ongoing support of the VNA.
Tickets are $50 each or $350 for a table of eight and may be purchased through the VNA office, (330) 782-5606, by Friday.
Suzanne Tucci is chairman and Kathy Goche, co-chairman. Committee members are David Camacci, president of the VNA board, and Jeanette Van Brocklin, Mary Ann Schaper, Jan Sherman, Judy Thompson, Deborah Hetrick, Ginny Infante and Rita Lopez.
The purpose: All proceeds from the fund-raiser will benefit VNA programs.
The VNA is a nonprofit home-health agency that has served the community for 97 years. Its mission is to provide quality multidisciplinary health-care services to community residents. The VNA is involved in other community projects including geriatric clinics, community medical and health assessments, community asthma project in conjunction with the YWCA and flu-shot programs.
