YOUNGSTOWN -- Joseph John Montella Jr. and his bride, the former Dawn Marie Koma, both of 40 S. Dunlap Ave., honeymooned in Las Vegas after their wedding July 21 at New Covenant Worship Center.
The Rev. Michael Byus officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mary Kathleen Koma, 73 Oneta St., and the late David Koma.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Montella Sr., 629 Hyatt St.
A reception was held afterward at the Lockwood House in Boardman.
The bride, a business-office manager at Camelot Arms Care Center, is majoring in nursing-home administration at Youngstown State University.
The groom is a corrections officer at Corrections Corp. of America in Hubbard.
A latticework design, pearls and sequins embellished the bodice and cathedral train of the white satin gown worn by the bride.
Silver gowns were worn by Julie Amrich, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Kim Montella, the groom's sister-in-law; Sue Dorman, his sister; Amy Deutschlander, the bride's cousin; and Kelly Richendoller. Flower girl was his daughter, Jessica Montella.
Serving as best man was Eric Newton, and groomsmen were Steve Montella, the groom's brother; Larry Kantz, his cousin; Pete Koma, the bride's brother; and Mike Diana.
