Police arrest two men on drug charges

HERMITAGE, Pa. -- Police who went to a North Keel Ridge Road home to serve an arrest warrant on a violation of a protection-from-abuse court order said they wound up arresting two men on drug charges.
Police went to the home of Aubrey J. Grose, 24, of 975 N. Keel Ridge Road around 8 p.m. Wednesday to serve a warrant on a person believed to be staying there.
Officers said they looked in a window and spotted a person smoking what appeared to be a marijuana cigarette. They also said they could clearly smell marijuana from outside the house.
The officers secured a search warrant and went back to the house, arresting Grose after finding 1.9 ounces of suspected marijuana inside. They said they also found 1.2 ounces of suspected marijuana on a second man there, David A. Cashier Jr., 22, of Hazen Road, Sharpsville.
Both were charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and Grose also was charged with illegal possession of the painkiller OxyContin and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both were arraigned Thursday before District Justice Henry Russo and freed on $3,000 bond each.
Police said charges are pending against three other adults and one juvenile in the investigation.
