BOARDMAN -- Stephen and Barbara Berman, 712 Mapleridge Drive, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Stacy Berman of the same address, and Brent Racer, 81 E. Kelso, Columbus, a son of Sandi and David Racer, 12099 Road12H, Ottawa.
Miss Berman graduated from Ohio University at Athens with a bachelor's degree in communications. She is a reporter with WYTV Channel 33 in Youngstown.
Mr. Racer, an architect with Ford and Associates Architects in Columbus, graduated from Ohio State University in Columbus with a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in architecture.
The couple will be married in an open ceremony they have planned for 2:30 p.m. Nov. 3 at New Life Assembly of God in Poland. Their evening reception will be held by invitation at Mr. Anthony's.
