WARREN Accident hearings continued

The women will be back in court Sept. 21.
WARREN -- The case against two bikini-clad women accused of causing two traffic accidents then assaulting the investigating police officers has been continued.
Christin Urso, 20, of Washington Street, and her friend, Jennifer Price, 20, of Atlantic Street N.E., are to appear Sept. 21 for preliminary hearings in front of municipal Judge Terry Ivanchak.
Both are free on bond -- Urso on $20,000; Price on $10,000.
The women, wearing only bikinis, were arrested Aug. 9 after two accidents that injured five people within minutes.
Hit bicyclist, minivan: Urso was driving and Price was a passenger in the car that hit Loretta Sue Banks, 14, of Oregon N.W., who was riding her bike on Logan Ave. S.E.
The girl was not seriously injured.
Police say Urso left the scene and 10 minutes later ran a stop sign, crashing her car into the side of a minivan, which flipped over at South Street and Main Avenue S.W.
Treated for minor injuries were the van's driver, Daniel Bland, 50, of Ridgelawn Avenue, Howland; his wife, Shirley, 48; her sister, Sandra Tucker, 57, of Palmetto, Ga.; and Tucker's husband, James, 47.
Reports say the women were combative with police at the accident scene.
Innocent pleas: Urso pleaded innocent to aggravated vehicular assault, assault on a police officer, DUI, underage drinking, driving under suspension and other charges.
Price also pleaded innocent. She is charged with underage drinking and assault on a police officer.
