BOARDMAN -- Ray and JoAnn York, 625 Cathy Ann Drive, announce the engagement of their daughter, Angela L. York of Westerville, and Michael K. Raney, also of Westerville.
Parents of the future groom are Tom and Mary Allen, 68559 Oak Spring Road, Edwardsburg, Mich.
Miss York graduated from Ohio State University, Columbus, with a bachelor's degree in journalism and communication. She is a marketing consultant with Clear Channel WFJX 105.7, the Fox, in Columbus.
A graduate of OSU with a bachelor's degree in business administration in transportation logistics and marketing, Mr. Raney is an account executive with Kingston Inc. in Columbus.
The couple will be married Sept. 22 during an open ceremony at 2:30 p.m. at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown. Invitations will be extended for an evening reception at The Georgetown in Boardman.
