Women's suffrage event to feature Cortland mayor
WARREN -- 9 to 5, the National Association of Working Women, will commemorate 81 years of women's right to vote Saturday.
There will be a reception from 4 to 6 p.m. at McKinley Memorial Library in Niles. Guest speaker will be Cortland Mayor Melissa Long.
Helen Rucker, a Warren councilwoman, will be presented with the Susan B. Anthony Keeping the Spirit Alive award. Edna Pincham, CEA of the Pincham Initiative Resource Center in Youngstown, will be awarded the Elizabeth C. Stanton Keeping the Spirit Alive award.

YOUNGSTOWN -- A new service on the Social Security Web site -- www.ssa.gov -- provides answers to frequently asked questions.
Twenty major categories of questions are divided into subcategories. Information seekers may search for answers by keywords or phrases. In addition, the service allows users to send evaluations of the answers and automatically receive e-mails when new information on the topic becomes available.
Other services the Web site provides include an electronic newsletter called Social Security eNews, benefits planner and history pages.
