YOUNGSTOWN -- Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park provided the setting for the July 28 wedding of Melanie Gemmell and Gene Seman, both of 441 Cannon St., Niles.
Judge Theodore Ivanchak officiated at the 3 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Richard and Connie Gemmell, 33 E. Second St., and the son of Paul Seman Sr., 511/2 E. Wilson Ave., all of Girard.
After accepting congratulations during a reception held at Boardman Community Center, the newlyweds left for a honeymoon to Niagara Falls.
They live at the Cannon Street address.
The bride is a human resources assistant at the Cafaro Co.
The groom is employed at Brentwood Originals.
The bride wore a white gown with a pink overskirt and pink ribbon bow.
Kristy Rounds of Girard was honor attendant. She wore a pink dress. Flower girl was Katie Rounds of Girard.
Performing the duties of best man was Brian Newhouse of Austintown. Ring bearer was Richard Gemmell II of Girard, brother of the bride.
