ASSOCIATIONS
XA meeting of the William Penn Association, Branch 28, of Youngstown will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the Country Kitchen in Boardman. A bus trip will be planned.
XYoungstown Charter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Saxon Club on Meridian Road with Susan Morell presiding. The menu will be pork chops, mashed potatoes, vegetable and salad; the cost is $10.25. Committee members and chairmen will be announced, and plans will be made for the coming year. Mary Ann Rushton will report on the Networking Council fashion show and luncheon to be held Sept. 23 at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex Centre in Liberty. XHolborn Herb Growers Guild will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Western Reserve Village at the Canfield Fairgrounds to prepare the gardens for the fair. Hostesses will be Rosemary Pitzo, Connie Altomare, Judy Sommerlad and Helen Van Nest.

SERVICE CLUBS
XVienna Kiwanis will hold a dinner meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Vienna Presbyterian Church, Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna Center. Members will attend a Scrappers baseball game Wednesday. They will go out to eat at 6 p.m., and the game will start at 7.

XTrumbull County Herb Society will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at Champion Christian Church, where a car pool will be formed for a trip to Mill Creek Park. A program on "Edible Plants" will be presented by Pat McHenry. The herb of the month is pineapple sage. Hostesses are Sherry Fender, Kathleen Willingham and Nancy Roberts.
SINGLES
XD.A.R.E., a social group for divorced, widowed or separated people, will attend a dance at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Choices in Liberty; the cost is $4.
