XStruthers Rotary in conjunction with the city of Struthers, will sponsor a fall craft show from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 7 at Mauthe Park, Smithfield Street, Struthers. Space is available. FESTIVALS
XSt. Lucy Church, 404 Tenney Ave., Campbell, will hold its Festa Italiana from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday through Sunday at the parish center. Homemade Italian foods including pizza, polenta, greens and beans, pepperoni rolls, pizza fritta and cookies will be available. There also will be dancing and games. A raffle with a grand prize of $2,000 and nightly attendance prizes of $100 will be awarded. A religious procession is planned for 6 p.m. Wednesday following the Assumption feast day Mass. X"The Gathering of the Irish Clans" is planned for Sunday at St. Maron Recreation Grounds, 1555 Meridian Road, by the Ulster Project. Gates will open at 10 a.m. and there will be a Mass at 11. There will be Irish food, entertainment and vendors.
FUND-RAISERS
XAlliance Community Outreach Program Inc. and Trumbull County Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance will hold the annual summer fund-raiser at 6 p.m. Friday at DiVieste Banquet Hall, 745 N. River Road N.W., Warren. The speaker will be the Rev. Dr. Timothy Clarke, former Warren minister. The tax-deductible ticket donation is $50. For information call Charlene W. XThe second annual corn roast to benefit Mecca Community Park is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdayat the park in Mecca. Entertainment will feature a magic show, music, petting zoo, rodeo demonstration and games. There also will be bike, trike and motorcycles decorating contests, Chinese auction, a dunking booth, look-alike and impersonation contest and corn-eating contest. Mecca Search and Rescue Dogs will have a display and Boy and Girl Scouts will do face painting. A parade at 11 a.m. will feature the theme, "In the Good Ole Summertime." XThe Church of Jesus Christ, Salem, will sponsor a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Pointview Dance Hall, corner of Route 62 and Western Reserve Road. Barbecued ribs and chicken also will be available.
XNevels Temple Church of God in Christ, 939 Elm St., Youngstown, will sponsor a trash and treasure sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the church parking lot. Food, baked goods, clothing and other items will be sold.
XGlenwood Primitive Methodist Church will hold a yard sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday at 155 Rockland Drive, Boardman. Proceeds will go toward youth activities.
SHOWS
XYoungstown Area Tropical Fish Society will hold its annual "Whale of a Show" from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and beginning at noon Sunday until an auction planned for that day is over.
