A schedule of area road construction projects:
MAHONING COUNTY
Lake Milton: Work continues on Interstate 76 eastbound and westbound bridges over the lake, which will be reduced to one 11-foot lane until Nov. 15. The $12.85-million rehabilitation project will last until mid-November 2003.Youngstown: Interstate 680 is reduced to one lane in each direction from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to allow painting of seven bridges. Restrictions start on Four Mile Run Road in Austintown and continue to the Steel Street bridge. Completion date: end of October.Austintown: The southbound lane of state Route 11 over Interstate 80 and Interstate 680 is closed for reconstruction of three bridges. A detour is provided. Completion date: Summer 2002.Youngstown: The north state Route 11 off-ramp to west Interstate 80 is closed for a $4.1 million rehabilitation of lighting and three bridges. A detour is provided. Completion date: October 2002.
TRUMBULL COUNTY
Hubbard Township: Work continues about 1.5 miles from the Pennsylvania line, with two lanes of traffic open in each direction at the U.S. Route 62 interchange. One lane conditions will last until this month for pavement repair and paving on Interstate 80 beginning at the state line, plus the painting of 12 bridges and the overlaying of seven bridges. Completion date: June 2002.
Niles: Belmont Avenue bridge over the Mahoning River is now open. The $850,000 project is scheduled for completition in mid- to late August.
Girard: State Route 11 north off-ramp to I-80 west is closed through Oct. 9 for reconstruction. The detour will follow state Route 11/I-80 northbound to Salt Springs Road to state Route 11/I-80 south to I-80 west.Hubbard Township: The driving lanes of I-80 are closed from west of U.S. Route 62 to two miles east of Route 62 to repair and resurface pavement, paint 12 bridges and resurface seven bridges. Completion date: June 2002.Hubbard Township: The Route 62 southbound bridge is reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge replacements over Little Yankee Creek. Completion date: Oct. 31.Vienna, Fowler and Howland townships: Northbound lane of state Route 11 near King Graves Road is closed for ramp construction. King Graves over Route 11 is closed for bridge replacement work. Detour provided. Completion date: November.Champion Township: State Route 5 east of state Route 45 will maintain one lane of traffic in each direction. Project is rehabilitation of two bridges on Route 5. Completion date: October or early November.

Mercer-West Middlesex Road: Shenango, Lackawannock and East Lackawannock townships: Oil and chip shoulders.
Mercer-West Middlesex Road: Shenango Township: Ditching.
Beatty School Road: Hadley to Greenville-Sheakleyville Road: Shoulder cutting.
Greenville-Mercer Road: Greenville to Mercer: Crack sealing.
Kinsman Road: West Salem Township: Road closed for oil and chip resurfacing.
Bedford Road: Shenango Township: Road closed for oil and chip resurfdacing.
Sharon-Bedford Road: Shenango Township: Road closed for oil and chip resurfacing.
Fetsko Road: Shenango Township: Road closed for oil and chip resurfacing.
Wet Track Road: Shenango Township: Road closed for oil and chip resurfacing.
District Road: Airport Road to state Route 845: Brush cutting.
Interstate 79: U.S. Route 62 to the Crawford County line: Patching.
Grove City-Harrisville Road: Pine Township: Ditching.
Williamson Road: Pa. Route 18 to state Route 358: Road base repair.
