WARREN Two plead innocent in endangering

The children were left for about an hour, officials say.
WARREN -- A husband and wife are free on personal recognizance bonds after answering charges they left three children in a parked van with the windows rolled up.
The mercury soared to 90 degrees on Aug. 1, when authorities say Bridget E. Barger, 21, and her husband, William, 27, of Hartman Avenue, parked their van in front of Trumbull County Administration Building on High Street.
The Bargers pleaded innocent during arraignment Monday in the courtroom of municipal Judge Terry Ivanchak. Atty. Thomas Letson filled in as acting judge.
The Bargers were cited Wednesday on charges of child endangering and are set to appear for trial Nov. 5.
Authorities say the children, 19 months, 3 and 10, were left for about an hour.
Hot: Deputy Roosevelt Hill has said the temperature was 87 degrees that day and the children were found sweaty and crying.
Hill said employees at the county administration building called him at about 12:15 p.m., saying the children had been sitting in the van unsupervised since 11:30.
A county employee found the parents in the title office and advised them to go to the van.
The van was towed, officials said, and the Children Services department was notified.
