TOUCH FOOTBALL
Youngstown Touch Football League -- will have a meeting of all existing and new coaches at Giacchetta's Lounge on Mahoning Avenue on Aug. 9 at 9 p.m. For details call Rich Slaina at (330) 788-3082.
BASEBALL
The Baseball School -- will offer a small-group pitching session beginning Aug. 20 and a small-group hitting session beginning Aug. 22, both for six weeks. The sessions are for players age 8-13 and are limited to the first four registrants. For details call Matt Giambattista at (330) 793-5605.
GOLF
Poland High -- Tryouts for the boys golf team will be held Tuesday and Wednesday at Copeland Hills in Columbiana starting at 1 p.m. each day. Each candidate will play 18 holes.
