CARRIE SERMICHAEL VIVALO
GIRARD -- Living in Cuyahoga Falls after a honeymoon at Cancun, Mexico, are Michael Joseph Vivalo and his bride, the former Carrie Lynne Ser, both of 1436 Buckingham Gate Blvd., who were married June 29 at St. Rose Church.
The Rev. Charles Poore presided at the 4 p.m. wedding for the daughter of Carole Ann Ser, 35 Emma St., and Ronald J. Ser, Liberty Street, and the son of Dolly and Joseph Vivalo, 2725 Dogwood Drive, Youngstown.
A reception was held in honor of the couple at Antone's Banquet Centre, Boardman.
The bride's sleeveless white satin A-line gown featured a V-neckline and chapel train and was embellished with embroidery and beading.
Periwinkle gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Mary Ser, and the bridesmaids, Chasten Hamilton, her cousin; Monica English; Joette Mauck, the groom's cousin; Barbara Elioff; and Cynthia Wagner. Flower girls were the groom's niece, Isabella Olmstead, and his godchild, Julia Guerrieri.
Jeff Vivalo was best man for his brother, and groomsmen were John Vivalo, his nephew; Joe Vivalo, his brother; Tony Guerrieri, his cousin; Bob Hennessy; and Mike Ser, a brother of the bride. Ring bearer was the groom's nephew, Nicholas Olmstead.
The bride, a teacher with Cuyahoga Falls Schools, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in education.
The groom earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Ohio State University.
