POLAND -- Alexander and Anne Murphy of 7762 Indian Trail are announcing plans for the coming wedding of their daughter, Laura A. Murphy, 122 Berkshire St., Cambridge, Mass., to Michael J. Smith, also of the Berkshire Street address.
Mr. Smith is a son of Edgar J. Smith, 111 Mill Run, Youngstown, and Jean M. Smith, 488 Catherine St., Youngstown.
Invitations will be extended for the couple's wedding to take place at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 1 at Holy Family Church and for a reception that evening at St. Mary Hall in Boardman.
A graduate of Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in nursing, Miss Murphy is a registered nurse at New England Medical Center in Boston.
Her fiance holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from KSU and is in graduate school at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge.
