BOARDMAN -- Private services were Wednesday at Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland for Mary A. Frech, 94, of Shepherd of the Valley, formerly of West Wood Street, Lowellville, who died Sunday morning at the nursing home.
Mrs. Frech was born Oct. 12, 1906, in Lowellville, a daughter of John and Carrie Peterson Hetrick.
She was a member of Lowellville United Methodist Church for more than 60 years, where she served on various committees and the board and taught Sunday school.
Her husband, John L., whom she married Sept. 28, 1926, died May 18, 1988.
She leaves a son, John L. of St. Petersburg Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Sharon Anderson of Hacienda Heights, Calif.; a sister, Margaret Byers of New Wilmington, Pa.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
