POLAND -- John and Kathy Getchey, 1316 Meadow Lane, announce the engagement of their son, John Joseph Getchey, 6628 Dorr St., Toledo, and Kristin Leigh Jordan, 3436 Indian Trail Lane, Toledo.
Parents of the bride-elect are Larry and Paula Jordan, 14409 Mudsock Road, Wapakoneta.
July 14 has been chosen by the couple for their 3:30 p.m. ceremony at Shawnee Alliance Church, Shawnee, and their reception afterward at the Ramada Inn, Lima. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and reception.
Miss Jordan earned a bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Toledo and a master's in school psychology at Bowling Green State University. She is a school psychologist at Lucas County Education Service Center, Toledo.
Mr. Getchey graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelor's degree in finance. A financial analyst, he is employed by Dana Commercial Credit, Toledo.
