THELMA FOSTER WILSON, 77 Was co-owner of Wayland Gas & amp; Oil



PARIS, Ohio -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Wayland Community Church, for Thelma Foster Wilson, 77, of 9610 Griffith Road, who died Friday in Frederick (Md.) Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Wilson was born Dec. 2, 1923, in Somerset, Ky., a daughter of Albin and Tillie M. Tomlinson Humble. She and her husband, Carl E., owned Wayland Gas & amp; Oil for 18 years. She was a member of the church and Palmy Chapter 114, Order of Eastern Star. She had been a 4-H leader for 10 years, served on the County 4-H Council in Ravenna and was active in school affairs and the L'Etoile Club.
Her husband, whom she married Aug. 30, 1940, died Dec. 4, 1989.
She leaves two sons, Larry R. of Greenville, S.C., and William C. of Mount Airy, Md.; two sisters, Doris Harris of Paris, Ohio, and Zella P. Johnson of Phoenix, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A son, Charles E., is deceased.
Friends may call one hour before services in the church.
Arrangements are by James Funeral Home, Newton Falls.
